The controlled explosion, which occurred in Upper Bangai village of Thanamandi sub-division within the district, resulted in partial damage to a nearby house. Officials confirmed that no injuries were reported during the operation.

Officials stated that a security patrol initially detected the IED in proximity to the residence and immediately requested assistance from the bomb disposal squad, which determined that a controlled explosion was the safest course of action.
