Nitish Kumar Thanks PM Modi and Alliance Partners After NDA's Historic Victory in Bihar Elections

Janata Dal (United) chief Nitish Kumar expressed profound gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other alliance partners following the National Democratic Alliance's (NDA) overwhelming victory in the Bihar elections.

"I express my heartfelt gratitude and thanks to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji for the support received from him," stated the Bihar Chief Minister in a Hindi post on the social media platform X.

Kumar also extended his appreciation to coalition partners Chirag Paswan, Jitan Ram Manjhi, and Upendra Kushwaha for their collaborative efforts that contributed to this decisive victory.

"The NDA has achieved a massive majority in this election by demonstrating complete unity. For this, my thanks and gratitude to all the partners of the NDA... With your support, Bihar will progress even further and will be included in the category of the most developed states in the country," Kumar remarked.

The Chief Minister acknowledged the voters of Bihar for placing their trust in the NDA for another term.

Election trends revealed that the NDA had dominated the Bihar election, securing over 200 of the 243 assembly seats, with the BJP emerging as the single-largest party in the alliance.

It's worth noting that the NDA had not announced any chief ministerial candidate prior to the election.

Senior BJP leaders including Amit Shah had previously stated that the NDA would contest the Bihar election under Kumar's leadership, but clarified that the chief minister's position would be determined according to the party's rules and constitution after the election results were finalized.
