Kashmir House of Delhi Blast Suspect Demolished: Security Forces Target Terror Networks

Security forces have demolished the Kashmir residence of Umar Mohammed, the primary suspect in the recent Delhi Red Fort blast that killed 13 people. Investigation reveals a disturbing trend of terrorist organizations recruiting highly educated professionals like doctors for carrying out attacks, with substantial quantities of explosives recovered from associates in Faridabad.

Security forces have demolished the Kashmir house of Umar Mohammed alias Umar un-Nabi, who triggered the car blast near Delhi's iconic Red Fort. Early today, the security forces oversaw the demolition of the doctor's house at Pulwama in south Kashmir.

Investigation into the blast on Monday evening, which left 13 people dead and over 20 injured, revealed that Umar, a doctor at Al-Falah University in Faridabad, was driving the Hyundai i20 car that exploded near a traffic signal on the Netaji Subhash Marg near Red Fort. His presence in the car was confirmed by matching DNA samples found at the blast site and collected from his mother.

The demolition of his house in Kashmir is aimed at sending a message to those supporting terrorist activities on Indian soil. Previously, similar demolition action was taken against individuals involved in the Pahalgam terror attack plot.

The Delhi blast followed a discovery of approximately 2,900 kg of bomb-making material and sophisticated weapons including assault rifles. These materials were recovered from Muzammil and Shaheen Saeed, doctors who were associates of Umar. Both medical professionals are currently in custody and being interrogated to uncover the conspiracy behind accumulating explosives in Faridabad. Investigators believe that the module connected to Jaish-e-Mohammed and Ansar Ghazwat Ul-Hind intended to execute a significantly larger attack, and the Delhi blast occurred because Umar panicked after his associates were arrested.

The explosives discovery in Faridabad and the fatal blast in Delhi have highlighted that terrorist organizations like Jaish-e-Mohammed are now recruiting highly educated professionals, particularly doctors, to carry out their terror operations.
