A 23-year-old man named Sukruth was arrested in Bengaluru for deliberately crashing his car into a family of three on a scooter near MS Ramaiah Hospital. The incident, triggered by road rage after the scooter rider honked at him, left the family injured. Police tracked the suspect using CCTV footage and charged him with rash driving and fleeing the accident scene.

Police have arrested a man who rammed a two-wheeler carrying a family of three in Bengaluru with his car and drove off.

The incident took place near MS Ramaiah Hospital last month when a couple and their child were traveling on a scooter. 23-year-old Sukruth, driving his car, collided with the scooter at high speed.

The impact caused the scooter to jump over the divider, resulting in injuries to the family. The woman suffered injuries to her hand, head, and shoulder, while the man sustained rib injuries. Bystanders quickly rushed them to the hospital for medical attention.

After analyzing CCTV footage from the location, police were able to track down and arrest Sukruth. He was charged under relevant sections for rash driving, causing injuries, and fleeing the accident scene.

According to reports, Sukruth allegedly rammed into the scooter because he was angered by the two-wheeler's rider honking at him at a previous traffic signal.
