PM Modi To Launch Development Projects Worth Rs 34,200 Crore From Gujarat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to attend the "Samudra se Samriddhi" event in Gujarat on Saturday, where he will launch various development projects totaling over Rs 34,200 crore from Bhavnagar.

According to an official statement, the Prime Minister will conduct an aerial survey of the Dholera Special Investment Region, conceptualized as a greenfield industrial city. He will then lead a review meeting before visiting the National Maritime Heritage Complex at Lothal.
In a significant enhancement to the maritime sector, PM Modi will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for multiple maritime development projects valued at more than Rs 7,870 crore.
The Prime Minister will inaugurate the Mumbai International Cruise Terminal at Indira Dock and lay the foundation stone for a new container terminal with associated facilities at Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port in Kolkata. Additionally, he will initiate a new container berth, cargo handling facilities, and related developments at Paradip Port among other projects.
Demonstrating his dedication to comprehensive and sustainable development, PM Modi will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for numerous central and state government projects in Gujarat worth over Rs 26,354 crore, spanning various sectors.
Among the inaugurations will be the HPLNG Regasification Terminal at Chhara Port, Acrylics & Oxo Alcohol Project at Gujarat IOCL Refinery, the 600 MW Green Shoe Initiative, PM-KUSUM 475 MW Component C solar feeder for farmers, the 45 MW Badeli Solar PV Project, and the complete solarization of Dhordo village, among others.
He will also lay foundation stones for LNG infrastructure, additional renewable energy projects, coastal protection works, highways, and healthcare and urban transport projects. These include expansions at Sir T General Hospital in Bhavnagar, Guru Govind Sinh Government Hospital at Jamnagar, and the four-laning of 70 km of national highways.
The statement further mentioned that the Prime Minister will visit and review progress of the National Maritime Heritage Complex (NMHC) at Lothal, being developed at a cost of approximately Rs 4,500 crore. This complex aims to celebrate and preserve India's ancient maritime traditions while serving as a hub for tourism, research, education, and skill development.
