Tirupati:
In an astonishing act of retaliation, a man in Andhra Pradesh's Tirupati district bit a poisonous snake after being attacked by the reptile.
Venkatesh, who was reportedly intoxicated at the time, encountered a black krait snake that bit him while he was returning home. In a remarkable response, he immediately captured the snake and severed its head using his teeth.
According to community members, Venkatesh took the deceased reptile to his residence after killing it and went to bed with the snake placed next to him.
By midnight, Venkatesh's health deteriorated as the venom circulated through his system. Concerned family members transported him to Srikalahasti Area Hospital, where he received emergency medical attention.
Currently, Venkatesh remains in critical condition. He was transferred to Tirupati Ruia Hospital Friday morning for specialized treatment. Medical professionals are closely monitoring his condition.
The occurrence has shocked local residents, with many describing the incident as both inconceivable and frightening.
