Migrant Workers and Youth Emerge as Key Voting Bloc in Bihar Elections, Says Prashant Kishor

Prashant Kishor, founder of Jan Suraaj Party, identifies migrant workers and youth as decisive factors in Bihar's assembly elections, claiming they are driving change by moving away from traditional voting patterns. Kishor dismisses 'vote theft' allegations while asserting his party offers a viable alternative to both NDA and fears of 'jungle raj' under RJD leadership.

Migrant Workers, Youth Real X Factors Of Bihar Polls: Prashant Kishor

Prashant Kishor has asserted that migrant workers and youth constitute the genuine "X factor" in Bihar's current assembly elections, rather than women as commonly believed.

During a press interaction in Supaul, the Jan Suraaj Party founder and former election strategist emphasized that both youth and migrant laborers are firmly committed to voting for change in the state.

"Migrant workers are returning to their hometowns in significant numbers to cast their votes alongside their families. In previous elections, these workers typically supported the NDA coalition due to lack of alternatives," Kishor stated, suggesting that his party has now become their preferred choice.

He further observed that Prime Minister Modi previously secured votes from migrant workers and the general public by invoking fears of RJD's 'jungle raj'. "However, he seems disconnected from the present ground reality. People who once feared the resurgence of 'jungle raj' in Bihar now see Jan Suraaj as a viable alternative in this election," Kishor remarked.

Addressing recent controversies, Kishor dismissed the Congress party's 'vote chori' (vote theft) allegations as irrelevant to Bihar's electoral landscape. "Speak with anyone on the street and you'll discover that no citizen's name was removed from electoral rolls in constituencies that participated in the first phase of voting," he confidently stated.
