Tragic Case of Animal Cruelty: Stray Dog Electrocuted on Transformer in Jaipur

A disturbing case of animal abuse has emerged from Jaipur's Bhankrota area, where officials reported on Friday that a stray dog was allegedly bound and thrown onto an electrical transformer, resulting in its death by electrocution.

According to police statements, the dog's body was discovered hanging from a transformer approximately 20 feet high early Friday morning after local residents on their morning walks noticed sparks emanating from the transformer.

Authorities halted the electricity supply before removing and burying the dog's remains.

Police indicated that the incident occurred in the Jaisinghpura area, where unidentified individuals allegedly killed the animal late Thursday night. The investigation into this matter is ongoing.
