Bhojpuri Star Khesari Lal Yadav Faces Illegal Construction Notice From Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation

Khesari Lal Yadav is contesting on a Rashtriya Janata Dal ticket from Chapra assembly seat in Bihar elections.

Bhojpuri actor and singer Khesari Lal Yadav, currently campaigning as an RJD candidate in the Bihar assembly elections, has received a notice from the Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation regarding alleged unauthorized construction at his Mira Road residence, an official confirmed on Thursday.

The civic body's notice specifically addresses "unauthorized installation of iron angles and a tin sheet shed" at his property.

According to the MBMC official, "The notice directs the property owner to remove these illegal additions, with the warning that failure to comply will trigger enforcement action under municipal regulations. Should the owner not voluntarily dismantle the unauthorized structure, the civic authority will proceed with demolition at the owner's expense."

Local residents report that the house has remained vacant for several weeks. Some neighbors mentioned that his family has traveled to Bihar to support Khesari Lal Yadav's electoral campaign.

The Bhojpuri entertainment star is running on a Rashtriya Janata Dal ticket for the Chapra assembly constituency, a seat that has been held by BJP representative CN Gupta since 2015.

Attempts to reach Khesari Lal Yadav for comment were unsuccessful.
