Brave Girl Fights Off Three Kidnappers Near Police Station in Gwalior - CCTV Captures Shocking Incident

The police confirmed that the suspects captured on CCTV footage will be apprehended shortly.

A disturbing event in Gwalior has reignited concerns about women's safety, particularly troubling as it occurred in close proximity to law enforcement. Three individuals traveling in an autorickshaw allegedly attempted to abduct a first-year student in broad daylight, merely 50 steps away from the Padav women's police station.

The entire incident was recorded by security cameras. Police reports indicate that at approximately 11 am, as the young woman was making her way to college, an autorickshaw that had been stationary nearby suddenly approached her from behind. One occupant grabbed her arm while another exited the vehicle and attempted to lift her by her leg. According to reports, the autorickshaw operator instructed the others to force the student into the vehicle.

Demonstrating exceptional bravery, the minor victim resisted the attackers, managed to break free from their grasp, and ran toward the women's police station seeking assistance. However, before help could arrive, the perpetrators abandoned the autorickshaw and escaped on foot.

The traumatized victim initially returned home before later visiting the police station to register a formal complaint.

Authorities have impounded the autorickshaw and are currently searching for the suspects.

The location of this attempted kidnapping—situated between a women's polytechnic college and a dedicated women's police station—should have been among the safest environments for a young student.

Inspector Shailendra Bhargava from Padav police station stated, "We have registered a case against the unidentified individuals and are close to identifying them through CCTV footage. Arrests will be made shortly."

This incident has generated significant outrage and anxiety among local residents, many of whom are questioning how such a brazen abduction attempt could occur in one of the city's busiest areas and in such close proximity to a police station.
