India is preparing to conduct a comprehensive tri-service military exercise named 'Poorvi Prachand Prahar' in the mountainous terrain of Mechuka, Arunachal Pradesh this month, according to an official statement released.

The exercise has been designed as a forward-thinking initiative to validate the integration of multi-domain operations across land, air, and maritime fronts. It reflects the Indian Armed Forces' growing preparedness for addressing future conflict scenarios, as stated by Defence PRO Lt Col Mahendra Rawat on Saturday evening.

A key objective of 'Poorvi Prachand Prahar' is to enhance interoperability between the three military branches while improving situational awareness and validating joint command and control structures necessary for coordinated mission execution.

Lt Col Rawat highlighted that the exercise will feature the synchronized deployment of special forces, unmanned platforms, precision systems, and networked operations centers functioning together under realistic high-altitude conditions.

The exercise will also serve as a platform to test and validate revised tactics, techniques, and procedures to strengthen combat agility and adaptability in challenging environments.

'Poorvi Prachand Prahar' represents a significant advancement in India's ongoing tri-service integration efforts, building upon previous successful exercises including 'Bhala Prahar' conducted in 2023 and 'Poorvi Prahar' held in 2024.
