Post-Graduate Doctor's Residence Raided: Telangana STF Uncovers Major Drug Trafficking Network in Hyderabad

Telangana's Excise Special Task Force uncovered a sophisticated drug trafficking operation centered at a post-graduate doctor's residence in Hyderabad. The raid revealed six varieties of high-value narcotics worth Rs 3 lakh, exposing how the doctor's home served as the primary distribution hub for drugs sourced from Delhi and Bengaluru. While the doctor was arrested, three accomplices remain at large in this extensive narcotics network.

Telangana's Excise Special Task Force (STF) conducted a raid on the rented home of a post-graduate doctor, uncovering a central hub for drug trafficking operations throughout Hyderabad.

The STF's B team searched John Paul's residence in Hyderabad's Musheerabad area and discovered six different types of high-value narcotics with an estimated street value of Rs 3 lakh. While authorities arrested Paul, three of his associates remain at large.

According to STF officials, Paul, who was initially a drug consumer, entered the trafficking business to support his addiction. He reportedly worked alongside three friends - Pramod, Sandeep, and Sharath (also known as Saratulu) - who used his residence as a discreet and secure operational base.

Investigators confirmed that Paul's rented accommodation served not only as a storage facility but as the primary distribution center for the entire syndicate.

Pramod, Sandeep, and Sharath were allegedly responsible for obtaining substantial quantities of drugs from major urban centers, including Delhi and Bengaluru. They would transport these narcotics to Paul's Musheerabad residence, where he would store and distribute them to clients identified by the trio. As compensation for using his home as the drug den and sales center, Paul received free access to the narcotics.

Following intelligence reports, the STF executed a search warrant. Officials were astonished by the extensive and diverse collection of controlled substances discovered in the doctor's residence, which included OG Kush (26.95 grams), MDMA (6.21 grams), 15 LSD sticks, Cocaine 1.32 grams, Gummus 5.80 grams, and Hashish Oil 0.008 grams.
