Man Arrested in Bulandshahr After Viral Video Shows Him Spitting on Wedding Food

Authorities in Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr have apprehended a man after footage emerged showing him spitting on rotis during a wedding celebration. The individual, identified as Danish, was documented on camera contaminating the rotis while preparing them.

Following the widespread circulation of the video, police officials identified the perpetrator and took him into custody on Sunday.

Senior police officer Tejveer Singh confirmed the arrest of Danish for the unsanitary act of spitting on rotis at the wedding ceremony.

An active investigation into the incident is currently underway, according to Singh's video statement.

This case represents one of several similar incidents in Uttar Pradesh. In August, police arrested another individual in Baghpat after video evidence showed him spitting on rotis at a roadside eatery. Earlier in May, authorities in Meerut detained a man for identical behavior while preparing food.
