Teen Arrested for Sexual Assault and Impregnation of 15-Year-Old Girl in Gurugram

The father discovered his 15-year-old daughter was nearly seven months pregnant after a hospital visit.

In Gurugram, police have apprehended a juvenile for allegedly repeatedly raping a minor girl and impregnating her, an officer reported on Monday.

The case has been registered at the Women Police Station in Nuh, with the juvenile being sent to a correctional facility after appearing before the Juvenile Justice Board.

According to the complaint filed by the girl's father, his daughter had been noticeably disturbed for approximately one-and-a-half months, but refused to explain her behavior despite multiple inquiries.

The father stated that his daughter had been vomiting for seven to eight days, prompting him to take her to a doctor who prescribed medication.

When the medication failed to provide relief, the girl revealed that a boy from their village had been raping her for the past six or seven months, threatening to publish compromising photos and videos on social media if she spoke out.

"An ultrasound examination in Nuh revealed she was nearly seven months pregnant. When I confronted the boy at his home, his family members threatened me and suggested terminating the pregnancy," the father stated in his complaint.

The father explained that he has five children, and his wife has been living with her parents for the past six years. He frequently works away from home as a laborer.

Following the complaint, authorities registered an FIR under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act at the Women Police Station and apprehended the accused juvenile.

"We presented the juvenile before the Juvenile Justice Board, which ordered him to be sent to a correctional home. Our investigation continues," stated Station House Officer Manju from the Nuh women police station.
