A tragic incident in Jaipur's busy Loha Mandi area left thirteen people dead and several injured when a speeding dumper truck lost control and crashed into multiple vehicles before overturning. The accident occurred Monday afternoon, with victims being rushed to nearby hospitals as authorities secured the scene. This disaster happened hours after another fatal crash near Matoda village that claimed 15 lives.

13 Killed After Speeding Dumper Truck Rams Several Vehicles In Jaipur

The dumper truck lost control and collided with multiple vehicles in a devastating accident.

A tragic incident occurred in Jaipur on Monday when a speeding dumper truck crashed into multiple vehicles, resulting in thirteen fatalities and numerous injuries.

The accident happened around 1 pm in the crowded Loha Mandi district of Jaipur. Reports indicate the dumper truck lost control before smashing into several vehicles, including automobiles and motorcycles.

After hitting a divider, the truck overturned, crushing multiple vehicles underneath it.

Rajasthan Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar confirmed to NDTV that the current death toll stands at thirteen. Some injured victims were transported to Kanwatia Hospital for medical attention, while those with severe injuries were transferred to Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Hospital.

Witnesses reported that bystanders apprehended the driver after the truck flipped. Law enforcement officers rescued the driver from the crowd and escorted him to a police station.

The collision site was left with wrecked vehicles and casualties scattered around the debris. Authorities secured the area and redirected traffic to alternative routes.

This tragedy occurred just hours after another fatal accident approximately 400 km from Jaipur, near Matoda village on the Bharat Mala Highway, where at least 15 people died and three were injured when a tempo traveller bus struck a parked trailer.

According to police, those victims were residents of Jodhpur's Sursagar area returning from a pilgrimage to the Kolayat temple in Bikaner after visiting the Kapil Muni Ashram.
