Bihar Election Showdown: Amit Shah's Crime Ministry Claims vs. Tejashwi Yadav's Fearless Response

The political battle in Bihar heats up as Union Home Minister Amit Shah alleges RJD would create ministries for kidnapping if elected, while Tejashwi Yadav boldly responds by invoking his father Lalu Yadav's past arrest of BJP mentor L.K. Advani. As the two-phase election approaches, both leaders intensify their campaigns with sharp exchanges and confident predictions about the outcome.

The political climate in Bihar has intensified as prominent leaders exchange fierce criticisms ahead of the upcoming two-phase election. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has claimed that if the RJD returns to power, they would establish ministerial positions dedicated to kidnapping and other criminal activities. Meanwhile, at a separate rally, RJD's Tejashwi Yadav accused Shah of threatening him and reminded everyone that Lalu Yadav had previously arrested BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani.

At a rally in Mokama, Tejashwi Yadav, who represents Mahagathbandhan as their chief ministerial candidate, declared that the RJD remains undaunted by the NDA, adapting the well-known phrase 'ek Bihari sau par bhari' to 'ek Bihari sab par bhari' (one Bihari outweighs everyone).

"I want to make it clear to Amit Shah that I cannot be intimidated. I am a son of Bihar. 'Ek Bihari sab par bhari'—never forget this. My father arrested Amit Shah's mentor, Advani ji. When Lalu ji stood fearless against Advani ji, do you think he would fear Amit Shah? We know the art of battling and emerging victorious. We stand unafraid," he proclaimed.

It's worth noting that former deputy prime minister Lal Krishna Advani was detained in Bihar's Samastipur on October 31, 1990, under the directive of then-chief minister Lalu Yadav, to prevent his Rath Yatra from advancing toward Ayodhya where he planned to launch a campaign for the Ram temple.

Expressing confidence in Mahagathbandhan's electoral prospects, Tejashwi Yadav stated, "Results will be announced on November 14, with the oath-taking ceremony scheduled for November 18."

During a rally in Muzaffarpur, Amit Shah launched a scathing attack, alleging that if the RJD gains power in Bihar, they would establish new ministries dedicated to criminal enterprises.

"Should Lalu's son (Tejashwi) become Bihar's chief minister, three additional ministries will be created to oversee kidnapping, extortion, and murder. Your support for NDA will protect Bihar from RJD's 'jungle raj'. Attempts are being made to reintroduce 'jungle raj' with fresh faces," he claimed.

Shah added that if the NDA retains power, they would establish a specialized ministry to address Bihar's flood problems.

The Union Minister also criticized Lalu Yadav and Congress leader Sonia Gandhi for "attempting to install their sons as Bihar's chief minister and as the prime minister." However, the BJP leader emphasized that neither position is currently available.
