Nephew Murders Uncle at Thane Hospital: Violent Family Dispute Caught on CCTV

A CCTV footage has emerged showing Pujari violently dragging Nair by the collar.

Authorities have apprehended a 26-year-old man for the alleged murder of his maternal uncle near Mumbai on Thursday.

The suspect, Ganesh Ramesh Pujari, and the victim, Mariappa Raju Nair (40), both residents of Mumbai's Goregaon area, had traveled together to a hospital in Thane for Pujari's wife's delivery.

According to police reports, a heated dispute erupted between the two men at the medical facility.

The altercation escalated dramatically when Pujari allegedly slammed his uncle's head against the hospital steps and subsequently lifted him up before smashing him onto the stairs, resulting in fatal injuries.

Surveillance footage that has since been released shows Pujari aggressively grabbing Nair by his collar and forcibly dragging him away from the scene.

After receiving an alert about the incident, local police quickly responded and arrested Pujari at the location.
