'Drops Atom, Hydrogen Bombs On Own Country': Anil Vij Mocks Rahul Gandhi
BJP Minister criticizes Rahul Gandhi over his upcoming "hydrogen bomb" revelation.
New Delhi:
Haryana BJP Minister Anil Vij has launched a scathing critique of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi regarding his allegations of vote manipulation against the BJP and Election Commission. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Mr Vij stated, "Rahul Gandhi ji is the world's first politician who expresses intentions of dropping atom bombs and hydrogen bombs on his own country."
"While you have every right to express yourself in press conferences, if your intentions were genuine, you could have chosen different terminology to convey your message. The truth is that negativity has so consumed you that you neither think positively nor speak constructively," Mr Vij further remarked.

The "Hydrogen Bomb" Rahul Gandhi Promises
During a comprehensive presentation today, Rahul Gandhi claimed systematic deletion of voters from Congress strongholds in Karnataka during the 2023 Assembly election. According to Mr Gandhi, these voter IDs were removed through unauthorized logins and phone numbers originating from outside the state.
He cited specific examples, including Karnataka's Aland constituency where he alleged an attempt to delete 6,018 votes was only thwarted by coincidence. Mr Gandhi also referenced Maharashtra's Rajura constituency, claiming fraudulent voter additions were made using automated software.
The Congress leader observed a pattern where some constituencies experienced voter additions while others saw deletions. "The fundamental strategy remains identical - phones from external locations, officials supposedly adding voters without knowledge of doing so, and those deleting voters similarly unaware of their actions," he explained.
Mr Gandhi directly challenged Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar to "cease protecting those undermining Indian democracy" and demanded release of investigation data within a week.
However, Mr Gandhi indicated that these revelations don't constitute the promised "hydrogen bomb" - that disclosure is still forthcoming.
Earlier this month on September 1, while concluding the 'voter adhikar' rally in Bihar alongside Rashtriya Janata Dal allies, Mr Gandhi had promised the BJP he would soon release something "more powerful than an atom bomb" - referring to it as a hydrogen bomb.
Election Commission and BJP Respond
Both the Election Commission and BJP have dismissed Rahul Gandhi's accusations as unfounded.
"The allegations presented by Rahul Gandhi lack factual basis. No member of the public can delete any vote online, contrary to Mr Gandhi's misconception. No deletion process can be executed without providing the affected individual an opportunity to be heard," Election Commission sources clarified.
BJP MP Anurag Thakur pointed out that Congress has suffered defeats in 90 percent of elections contested under Rahul Gandhi's leadership. "His frustration grows daily. Making unfounded allegations has become Rahul Gandhi's habit. Court reprimands have become routine for him," Mr Thakur stated.
