Tragic Accident: 6-Year-Old Student Killed After Tractor Hit and School Bus Run Over in Haryana Village

A tragic accident claimed the life of a six-year-old girl after she was struck by a tractor and subsequently run over by her school bus, police officials reported on Monday.

The devastating incident occurred in Dhanokri village as Yanshika, a UKG student attending Virat International School in Kapriwas village of Rewari district, was waiting for her school transportation.

She sustained critical injuries when both the front and rear wheels of the bus rolled over her. Despite being rushed to medical care, she later succumbed to her severe injuries at the hospital.

According to the statement provided by her father Ravi in his police complaint, the accident happened around 7 am when his daughter was standing outside their residence waiting for her school bus.

He informed authorities that a passing tractor initially struck her, after which she was crushed by the school bus that was approaching from the opposite direction.

Assistant Sub-Inspector Ramesh Kumar, who is investigating the case, confirmed that the child's remains have been sent for postmortem examination.

"We have registered an FIR against both the bus and tractor drivers. Our teams are working diligently to apprehend the accused," he further stated.
