Amit Shah Praises PM Modi's Anti-Terror Operations While Criticizing Congress and RJD During Bihar Election Rally

Union Home Minister Amit Shah lauded Prime Minister Modi for strengthening India's security through decisive actions like Operation Sindoor, surgical strikes, and air strikes following terror attacks, while criticizing Congress and RJD for their previous inaction. Speaking at a Khagaria election rally, Shah also addressed infiltration concerns, promised economic growth, and highlighted the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections scheduled for November.

In Bihar, Amit Shah Says Congress, RJD Remained Silent After Terror Attacks

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Operation Sindoor while criticizing Congress and RJD for their "silence" during UPA governance when "Pakistan attacked every day," allegedly due to "vote bank politics."

During an election rally in Bihar's Khagaria, Shah emphasized how PM Modi has enhanced India's security through decisive retaliations following terror attacks in Uri, Pulwama, and Pahalgam.

The BJP leader stated, "PM Modi has secured our country effectively. During the UPA government, Pakistan conducted attacks regularly. Motivated by vote bank considerations, Sonia, Manmohan, and Lalu governments maintained silence."

"Since Modi assumed leadership, three major attacks occurred: Uri, Pulwama, and Pahalgam. In response, surgical strikes, air strikes, and Operation Sindoor were executed. Modi has worked diligently to safeguard India and foster national prosperity," he further remarked.

The Indian Army conducted Surgical Strikes in POK on September 29, 2016, following the Uri terror attack that killed 18 soldiers. On February 26, 2019, the Indian Air Force executed the Balakot Airstrikes after the Pulwama terror attack where 40 CRPF jawans lost their lives. Most recently, India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7 responding to the April 22 terror attack in Jammu-Kashmir's Pahalgam, where Pakistan-sponsored terrorists killed 26 people.

Shah also criticized Congress MP Rahul Gandhi regarding his 'Voter Adhikar Yatra,' claiming it was intended to "protect infiltrators." He assured that the NDA government in Bihar would remove infiltrators from the state.

"Recently, Rahul Baba came to protect infiltrators. Should infiltrators' names be removed from voter lists or not? Elect the NDA government again, and I promise we will remove every infiltrator from Bihar," Shah declared.

The Congress organized the 'Voter Adhikar Yatra' from August 17 to September 1 in Bihar, alleging "vote theft" and challenging the NDA.

Additionally, Shah commended the Prime Minister for driving economic growth, predicting that India will become the world's third-largest economy before 2027.

"PM Modi has elevated our country's economic position from 11th to 4th place. We will advance from fourth to third position before 2027," the Union Minister stated.

For the Khagaria seat, Congress has fielded Chandan Yadav, replacing incumbent MLA Chhtrapati Yadav, while the NDA has nominated JD(U)'s Bablu Mandal to compete against the Mahagathbandhan candidate.

The 243-seat Bihar Assembly elections will be conducted in two phases on November 6 and 11, with results announced on November 14.

The primary electoral contest is between Nitish Kumar's NDA and the RJD-led opposition alliance Mahagathbandhan.

The NDA coalition includes the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Janata Dal (United), Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular), and Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM).

The Mahagathbandhan alliance, led by Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), comprises Congress, the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) (CPI-ML), the Communist Party of India (CPI), the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPM), and Mukesh Sahani's Vikasheel Insaan Party (VIP).
