Tragic Case in Uttar Pradesh: Man Assaults Partner for Child Abuse Before Taking His Own Life

Police confirm initial evidence points to death by hanging.

In a disturbing incident from Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, a 32-year-old orchestra performer took his own life after mutilating his partner who allegedly sexually assaulted his young daughter.

Investigators revealed that the man had been living separately from his wife in a rented room, which he shared with 35-year-old Rambabu Yadav. Over time, the two developed an intimate relationship, according to police reports.

The situation escalated dramatically when the man's six-year-old daughter, who was visiting her father, was allegedly raped by Yadav. Upon learning of the assault, the enraged father confronted Yadav, resulting in a violent altercation during which he severed Yadav's genitals.

Severely injured, Yadav was initially transported to Deoria Medical College before being transferred to a Gorakhpur hospital for specialized treatment. He remains under police supervision while receiving medical care.

Authorities filed charges against Yadav under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act based on the father's complaint. During questioning, Yadav reportedly confirmed details about his relationship with the man.

Police indicated that after their relationship became public knowledge, the father faced significant social scrutiny and pressure. On Friday morning, he was discovered deceased in his room. Additional Superintendent of Police Sunil Kumar Singh stated that the body was sent for post-mortem examination.

The investigation continues as police work to establish all relevant circumstances surrounding the case. Meanwhile, the child has been relocated to her maternal grandparents' home and is receiving necessary medical attention and psychological support.

Forensic teams have collected evidence from the scene, and the child's medical examination has been completed, with results pending.
