On Thursday, a devastating incident occurred in Punjab's Ludhiana when firecrackers stored inside a residence unexpectedly ignited, resulting in severe injuries to twenty-four individuals.

The sudden explosions created panic among those present in the house. Among the severely wounded victims, ten were identified as children.

After receiving notification of the incident, fire department personnel promptly arrived at the location to extinguish the flames. The operation required more than six fire brigade vehicles to successfully control the blaze.
