7-Year-Old Boy Attacked by Neighbor's Dog After Guava Falls in Courtyard in Uttar Pradesh

In Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, a seven-year-old boy named Yash Shukla endured a horrifying experience when a guava he playfully tossed landed in a neighbor's courtyard. The incident, which occurred on Monday, quickly escalated into violence.

Aman Kushwaha, the neighbor, became enraged when the fruit fell into his property. He allegedly seized the child by his hair and forcefully dragged him inside his residence. Once inside, Kushwaha reportedly beat the young boy severely.

Not satisfied with the physical assault, Kushwaha reportedly commanded his pet dog to attack Yash. The child's screams alerted nearby residents who rushed to his aid, only to be met with verbal abuse and inappropriate behavior from Kushwaha.

Concerned neighbors took the injured child to the local police station, demanding immediate action against the perpetrator. Yash's mother, Swati Shukla, subsequently filed a formal complaint with authorities.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Chitranshu Gautam from Naubasta confirmed that the boy has been sent for medical examination. He stated that a search operation for Kushwaha is currently in progress, assuring the public that the accused would be apprehended soon.
