Authorities have taken notice of these dangerous celebrations, with Lucknow Police actively working to identify perpetrators through CCTV footage for appropriate legal action. These incidents highlight growing safety concerns during festive celebrations across Uttar Pradesh.

During India's Diwali celebrations on Monday, numerous videos emerged online showing individuals performing dangerous stunts with firecrackers.

One such widely circulated video on social media displays firecrackers being launched from the roof of a moving vehicle in Lucknow. The 20-second clip shows a car traveling on a busy street in Uttar Pradesh's capital while a sky shot repeatedly erupts from its roof every two seconds.

This incident occurred in the Chowk area of Uttar Pradesh's capital, near the KGMU Trauma Centre.

The Lucknow Police have addressed the video in a statement on X: "The traffic police and the local police station have taken cognisance of the case. Identification is being carried out on the basis of CCTV footage, and upon identification, necessary legal action will be implemented."

Similar Incident In Mathura

Another comparable video from Mathura has also appeared online, showing firecrackers being discharged from the sunroof of a moving SUV.

In this 15-second footage, a man is seen casually holding a lit firecracker while extending his head through the sunroof of a Land Rover Defender as another person drives the vehicle.
