20-Year-Old Fatally Stabbed in South Delhi: Six Men Involved in Fatal Attack Over Minor Dispute

Five individuals associated with the primary suspect have been apprehended, according to police officials.

A 20-year-old man was fatally stabbed by six individuals following a disagreement over a minor issue in south Delhi's Dakshinpuri area, police reported on Tuesday.

The primary suspect, who also sustained injuries during the incident, is currently hospitalized, while five of his accomplices have been taken into custody, authorities confirmed.

Police stated that they received notification from Safdarjung Hospital on Monday regarding an injured man, a Dakshinpuri resident, who had been admitted unconscious and was subsequently pronounced dead.

Preliminary investigations indicated that the victim was stabbed by a group following a trivial dispute. A 22-year-old resident of Sangam Vihar and his associates were identified as being involved in the attack, according to a senior police official.

Authorities later learned that the main suspect had also suffered injuries during the confrontation and was admitted to Safdarjung Hospital.

"Investigation revealed that the accused and his associates, all Dakshinpuri residents, collectively attacked and stabbed the victim. While the main suspect remains under medical treatment, five of his accomplices have been arrested," the officer explained.

A case has been registered under the appropriate legal provisions, and further investigation is ongoing, police added.
