New Delhi:
Kapil Sharma's Kaps Cafe in Surrey, Canada, came under gunfire late Wednesday, marking the third shooting incident at the establishment in four months. Gangsters Goldy Dhillon and Kuldeep Sidhu, affiliated with Lawrence Bishnoi's criminal organization, claimed responsibility for the attack through social media posts.
A video capturing the incident shows footage from inside a vehicle, where an individual extends their arm through the window and discharges multiple rounds from a handgun, with approximately six shots being fired.

Shortly after the attack, Dhillon and Sidhu posted a statement accepting responsibility and issuing a warning: "I, Kuldeep Sidhu, and Goldy Dhillon take responsibility for the three shootings that took place (at Kaps Caffe). We have no enmity with the general public."
"Those with whom we have a dispute should stay away from us. Those who engage in illegal work and do not pay people should also be prepared," the gangsters declared.
Their message also contained a threatening statement directed at "those who speak against religion in Bollywood," warning that they "should be prepared... bullets can come from anywhere."
The second attack on the cafe occurred on August 8, during which approximately 25 shots were fired.
In the video documenting that incident, a voice stated, "We had called the target... but he didn't hear the ring, so we had to take action. If he still doesn't hear the ring, the next action will be taken soon in Mumbai." This threat resulted in heightened security measures around Sharma's Mumbai residence.

The initial attack took place on July 10, while some employees were still inside the premises.
Although no injuries were reported from the shooting, at least 10 bullets struck a cafe window.
Following the first incident, a member of the Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terror group claimed that comments made during the comedian's show contained "humorous" remarks about the traditional dress and conduct of Nihang Sikhs, which allegedly offended the community's sentiments.

BKI terrorist Harjit Singh Laddi claimed responsibility for the July 10 shooting.
The Canadian government recognizes BKI as a terrorist organization, and Laddi appears on the National Investigation Agency's most-wanted list in India.
After the previous two attacks, Kaps Cafe issued a statement affirming its commitment to stand against violence and maintain the establishment as a symbol of "warmth and community" for its patrons.
