Tragic Incident in Andhra Pradesh: Father Poisons Minor Sons Before Committing Suicide

A case has been registered and authorities are continuing their investigation into this tragic incident.

In Chilakalapadu, a tragic incident unfolded early Wednesday when a 35-year-old man allegedly poisoned his two minor sons before taking his own life in Dr BR Ambedkar Konaseema district, according to police reports.

Superintendent of Police Rahul Meena revealed that initial information suggested the deceased, identified as P Kamaraju, had been experiencing harassment from certain individuals.

"Based on preliminary information, we understand that Kamaraju was being harassed by several people. His wife had also died by suicide approximately six years ago following some dispute," SP Meena confirmed to PTI while verifying the deaths.

According to the Superintendent, Kamaraju is believed to have administered poison to his children before hanging himself at approximately 3 am.

"We still need to verify the exact circumstances that led to Kamaraju's suicide," Meena added.

Authorities have registered a case and are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the matter.
