Tragic Incident in Bengaluru: Mother Takes Lives of Two Children Before Committing Suicide

A 27-year-old woman took her own life after taking the lives of her two young children in their Bengaluru residence, according to police statements released on Friday.

The deceased have been identified as Vijayalakshmi and her children, ages 1 and 4. The family originally came from Raichur district but had relocated to Bengaluru where the woman's husband was employed at a local mall.

Police investigators believe that domestic disagreements with her spouse may have precipitated this tragic incident.

According to law enforcement officials, the tragedy occurred Thursday evening in the Bagalagunte neighborhood. All three individuals were discovered hanging in one of the rooms of their residence.

Based on preliminary findings, authorities suspect that the woman allegedly strangled her children before hanging herself from the ceiling fan.

Investigators have not located a suicide note at the scene. Police officials stated that the investigation remains ongoing.
