Porsche Car Crashes into Divider on Mumbai's Western Express Highway, Driver Seriously Injured

A high-speed Porsche collision on Mumbai's Western Express Highway near Gundawali Metro Station has left the driver seriously injured and the vehicle severely damaged. The late-night incident involved three luxury cars heading to Bandra for a birthday celebration, with police investigating whether alcohol was a factor in the crash.

A Porsche sports car crashed into a divider on Mumbai's Western Express Highway during the late hours last night, resulting in severe damage to the luxury vehicle and leaving the driver with serious injuries.

The collision took place approximately at 2:30 am near Gundawali Metro Station, with all three vehicles involved in the incident traveling in the direction of Bandra.

Mumbai Police sources revealed that the Porsche driver had departed from Mira Road during the night, while two BMW cars were present on the Jogeshwari–Vikhroli Link Road at the time of the accident.

According to police reports, a group of six friends were traveling in the three vehicles, all heading to Bandra to celebrate a birthday party.

Authorities have filed an FIR against the driver of the Porsche and collected blood samples to determine whether alcohol was a factor in the crash.

Police sources have also confirmed that after reviewing CCTV footage, there was no evidence of racing between the vehicles when the accident occurred.
