Security measures have been enhanced with additional police forces deployed in the area.

In Manglora village, Uttar Pradesh, a 45-year-old man was allegedly fatally shot by a young man in what appears to be a revenge killing for his father's murder that occurred 14 years ago, according to police statements on Sunday.

Police reports indicate that the victim, identified as Jaivir, was returning to his residence from his agricultural fields on Saturday evening when the accused, 30-year-old Rahul, allegedly fired upon him, causing immediate death.

Additional Superintendent of Police Santosh Kumar Singh informed reporters that authorities have registered a case against Rahul, who is currently evading capture.

The deceased's body has been sent for autopsy examination.

Law enforcement has intensified security in the region and deployed extra police personnel as a precautionary measure, the officer further stated.

According to the complaint filed by the victim's family members, Jaivir's murder stemmed from a longstanding feud. Rahul's father, Brijpal, was killed by Jaivir in 2011, for which Jaivir served an 11-year prison sentence. Jaivir had been residing in the village for three years following his release from incarceration.

Police officials confirmed that efforts are underway to locate and apprehend the accused.
