CoBRA Jawan Sandeep Kumar Dies From Snakebite During Anti-Naxal Operation in Jharkhand's West Singhbhum

The deceased CoBRA battalion jawan was identified as Sandeep Kumar from the 209 battalion, according to official reports.

A tragic incident occurred during an anti-naxal operation in Jharkhand's West Singhbhum district when a jawan from the CoBRA battalion succumbed to a snakebite, as confirmed by a statement released by the state police headquarters on Wednesday.

Kumar was actively participating in an operation against a banned Left Wing Extremist organization in the Nurdha jungle within the jurisdiction of Chotanagra police station when the unfortunate incident took place.

Following the snakebite, he was immediately transported to a hospital for medical treatment, but unfortunately, he did not survive and passed away during treatment, according to the official statement.
