A 75-year-old man named Sangruram sought companionship by marrying a woman 40 years his junior, only to pass away the morning following their wedding ceremony.

This unexpected event took place in Uttar Pradesh's Jaunpur district, specifically in Kuchhmuchh village. Following the loss of his first wife approximately one year ago, Sangruram had been living in solitude. Without children, he maintained his livelihood through agricultural activities.

Family members report that despite their recommendations against remarriage at his advanced age, Sangruram proceeded with his decision. On Monday, September 29, he wed 35-year-old Manbhavati from the Jalalpur region. The couple formalized their marriage through court registration followed by traditional religious ceremonies at a local temple.

In a post-ceremony conversation, Manbhavati shared that her new husband had told her she should handle household responsibilities while he would "take care of the children." She mentioned they spent their wedding night primarily engaged in conversation.

Tragically, by morning, Sangruram experienced a sudden health decline. He was rushed to a medical facility where physicians pronounced him deceased.

This unexpected death has generated considerable speculation throughout the village community. While some locals view it as a natural occurrence, others find the circumstances questionable.

The deceased's relatives, including nephews residing in Delhi, have temporarily postponed the funeral proceedings. They have stipulated their presence as a requirement before cremation can proceed.
