Delhi Airport Launches Digital E-Arrival Card System for International Travelers from October 2025

Starting October 1, Delhi International Airport will implement a new E-Arrival Card system for foreign travelers, replacing paper-based immigration forms with a digital solution. This Bureau of Immigration initiative allows travelers to complete arrival information online up to three days before landing, reducing queues and supporting sustainability goals through paperless processing.

Delhi Airport To Introduce E-Arrival Card For Foreign Travellers From October 1

New Delhi's airport is set to implement a new E-Arrival Card system for international visitors beginning October 1. This digital initiative will replace the traditional paper-based arrival cards, allowing foreign travelers to complete their arrival information online.

The Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL) announced on Tuesday that this new facility will significantly enhance the arrival experience for international passengers. The system aims to streamline efficiency, reduce waiting times, and contribute to environmental sustainability by decreasing paper consumption.

Implemented under the Bureau of Immigration's oversight, this digital solution follows similar successful models already operating in various Asian countries including Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, South Korea, and Malaysia.

"International passengers will now benefit from a seamless digital platform to submit their arrival details online, eliminating the need for physical paper cards at the airport," stated DIAL in their official release.

The system offers flexibility for travelers, allowing them to complete the necessary forms up to three days prior to their arrival in India.

This development follows the June 2024 launch of India's inaugural "Fast Track Immigration-Trusted Traveller Programme" (FTI-TTP) at Delhi airport, which was designed to expedite immigration processes for Indian nationals and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders.
