Goddess Baleshwari Mata has been elaborately decorated with currency notes exceeding Rs 51 lakh during this year's Navratri celebrations.

While Navratri festivities across India feature grand pandals and elaborate decorations, Bhuwana in Udaipur witnessed a truly remarkable display. The idol of Goddess Baleshwari Mata was adorned with currency notes totaling over Rs 51 lakh.

The Baleshwar Yuva Mandal meticulously decorated both the deity and temple using currency notes amounting to Rs 51,51,551. The decoration incorporated various denominations including Rs 50, Rs 100, Rs 200, and Rs 500 notes.

Representatives from the Baleshwar Yuva Mandal explained that this cash decoration tradition has continued for four consecutive years. The amount has progressively increased each year - starting with Rs 11,11,111 in the first year, rising to Rs 21,21,121 in the second year, Rs 31,31,131 in the third year, and now reaching Rs 51,51,151 in the current year.

Around the Goddess Durga idol, strings of currency notes have been artistically suspended at the back and sides of the pandal. Even the goddess's crown has been entirely crafted using currency notes, with layered arrangements of cash adorning the entire display.

Footage obtained by NDTV shows devotees celebrating with traditional Garba and Dandiya performances amid colorful decorations, enhancing the festive atmosphere.

A similar decorative approach was observed at Udaipur's renowned Ganesh pandal, known as "Udaipur Cha Raja." Reports indicate that Lord Ganesha's idol was adorned with currency notes worth approximately Rs 1.51 crore. Pandal organizers mentioned that decorating Bappa with currency notes has become an established yearly tradition.

In related news from Jharkhand, an impressive Durga Puja pandal has been constructed drawing inspiration from Udaipur palace architecture. Modeled after the 400-year-old royal residence of Raja Ratan Singh of Udaipur, Rajasthan, this pandal has become a significant attraction.

The Praveen Singh Seva Sansthan of Adityapur created this puja pandal reflecting traditional Rajasthani mansion aesthetics. Devotees visiting to worship Goddess Durga are immersed in an authentic Rajasthani royal ambiance.
