Mayur had traveled to Goa for business purposes but was eager to return to Surat to participate in the Navratri celebrations, a nine-day festival dedicated to goddess Durga. Initially planning to travel by train, he changed to flight when his train service was delayed. Unfortunately, his flight was also delayed by five hours. However, this setback didn't diminish the spirits of Mayur and his fellow travelers. They transformed Goa airport into a festive venue and enthusiastically performed Garba together.

The Surat-bound flight was originally scheduled to depart from Goa at 5 pm on Sunday. All passengers were anticipating their return to Surat to join in the Navratri festivities, especially the Garba dance. However, a technical issue caused the flight to be delayed.

When Mayur shared his eagerness to reach Surat with a flight attendant, it sparked an impromptu celebration at the airport. The attendant arranged for speakers, bringing everyone together for a spontaneous Garba session. The footage of passengers and airline staff dancing to traditional folk songs has since gone viral online.

In the widely shared video, people can be seen clapping to traditional rhythms, twirling, and moving in a circle. One man, positioned at the center of the circle, is heard requesting participants to expand the circle to accommodate more dancers. Throughout the video, airline staff members join the celebration, dancing along with the passengers.

The background of the video shows other travelers waiting for their flights, enjoying the spontaneous cultural display unfolding before them.
