Ghaziabad Police Officers Suspended After Dancing With Bar Girl at Criminal's Birthday Party

An internal investigation has been launched by the Ghaziabad Police following an incident involving officers.

A viral 22-second video clip featuring policemen in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad has resulted in disciplinary action. Four officers, including the Sahibabad border outpost in-charge, have been suspended after footage emerged showing them dancing with a bar girl at the birthday celebration of a known criminal.

The video, captured on Monday night, depicts the officers in a celebratory state, holding beer bottles and dancing to music. Their presence at the party of Irshad Malik, an individual with a criminal record, has caused significant controversy.

After the footage rapidly circulated on social media platforms, Deputy Commissioner of Police Nimish Patel of Trans Hindon ordered immediate suspensions. Outpost in-charge Ashish Jadon and three constables have been temporarily removed from duty.

The Ghaziabad Police have also initiated an internal investigation into the matter.
