A 29-year-old trainee doctor has tragically ended his life by jumping from the 21st floor of a building in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
Shiva, a resident of Mathura, was visiting his sister's apartment in Gaur City 2 with his parents when the incident occurred. On Monday afternoon, while his parents were in another room, he went to the balcony and jumped. Police responded to the scene and transported his body to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Authorities did not find any suicide note in the apartment.

The deceased was a medical student enrolled in the 2015 MBBS batch at a private college in Delhi. His medical training had been interrupted when he developed mental health issues in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, which reportedly led to significant distress and depression.
Law enforcement has taken custody of the body and sent it for post-mortem examination. An investigation is currently underway to determine the circumstances surrounding his suicide.
