Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy both extended their heartfelt congratulations to Indian cricketer Tilak Varma for his outstanding performance that secured victory in the Asia Cup final.

The Chief Minister commended Varma's exceptional calmness and excellence under pressure, highlighting how his remarkable innings led India to triumph against Pakistan.

"What a star! Our Telugu boy, Tilak Varma, absolutely owned the pitch with a match-winning innings. His composure and brilliance are inspiring," Naidu shared in a post on 'X' platform on Sunday.

Naidu emphasized that this performance demonstrates the passion and resolve characteristic of Telugu youth. He further stated that Varma has brought immense pride to the entire state with his achievement.

Similarly, Reddy offered his congratulations to the Indian cricket team for their impressive victory in the Asia Cup 2025 final against Pakistan and specifically praised Varma's consistent excellence throughout the tournament.
