The projects include road construction, repair work, and drainage systems spanning 65.68 km across all eight zones and five assembly constituencies of Varanasi, with an allocation of Rs 63.76 crore, he elaborated.
Additionally, the restoration and cleaning of 75 wells throughout the city will be undertaken at a cost of Rs 1.18 crore. The plans also include constructing a shelter home for 30 people beneath the Pandeypur flyover, budgeted at Rs 30.28 lakh.

He further added that a Kajari Mahotsav program is scheduled at the Rudraksh Convention Centre on Tuesday, featuring performances by renowned folk singer Padmashri Urmila Srivastava, along with artists Ragini Chandra and Priyanka Chauhan.
Various religious ceremonies are also being arranged in honor of the Prime Minister.
Jitendrananda Saraswati, general secretary of the Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti Swami, revealed that seers will perform 'sahastraarchan' at Baba Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple using 1,100 lotus flowers, followed by a Maharudrabhishek ceremony.
