The fatal attack took place in Sanjaynagar village within the Arjuni Morgaon tehsil, under the Gothangaon forest range jurisdiction, during the early morning hours on Thursday, as reported by officials.
The young victim, identified as Ansh Prakash Mandal, had ventured outside his residence with his grandmother when the leopard suddenly attacked and carried the child away.
