Delhi High Court Directs Parties Not To Share Sunjay Kapur's Property Papers

New Delhi:

The Delhi High Court issued an order on Friday prohibiting all parties involved in the dispute regarding late Sunjay Kapur's property from sharing any details, including information about his personal assets and liabilities, with the media.

Justice Jyoti Singh issued directives stating, "A copy of the 'will' be supplied to the defendant subject to the undertaking that it will be used discreetly and that the party or advocates would not leak it to public." The court was addressing Priya's request seeking permission to submit the list of his personal assets and liabilities in a sealed cover with the parties bound by confidentiality, or alternatively, establishing a confidentiality club.

On September 25, the court had mentioned that filing the list of Kapur's personal assets and liabilities in a sealed cover might be "problematic" as his two children with former wife and actress Karisma Kapoor possess the "right to question the assets disclosed".
