Following Nitin Nabin's appointment as BJP National Working President and subsequent cabinet resignation, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar implemented a strategic reshuffle, elevating Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha to head Urban Development and Housing while Industry Minister Dilip Jaiswal takes charge of the crucial Road Construction Department, ensuring administrative continuity in the state government.

Nitin Nabin's Exit For BJP Chief Post Triggers Bihar Cabinet Reshuffle

Nitin Nabin officially stepped into the position of National Working President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday, triggering significant changes in Bihar's political landscape.

Patna:

Bihar witnessed a notable political reorganization on Tuesday as the state government quickly redistributed ministerial portfolios following Nitin Nabin's resignation from the cabinet.

The reshuffle, executed under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's directives, was implemented promptly to maintain administrative continuity and prevent any governance disruptions.

This redistribution has substantially elevated the roles of two prominent ministers within the state administration - Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha and Industry Minister Dilip Jaiswal.

Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha has been assigned the critical Urban Development and Housing Department, a portfolio that oversees urban infrastructure, sanitation systems, drinking water supply networks, smart city initiatives, and civic services.

With this strategic placement of the Deputy CM at the helm of urban development, the government anticipates accelerated implementation and enhanced oversight of urban improvement projects throughout Bihar.

Currently, Vijay Kumar Sinha also manages the Revenue, Land Reforms and Mining Ministry in Bihar's government structure.

Simultaneously, Dilip Jaiswal, who previously served as Bihar BJP president and currently heads the Industry Ministry, has been entrusted with the Road Construction Department - one of Bihar's most vital infrastructure-focused ministries.

Numerous major road and connectivity projects were initiated during Nitin Nabin's leadership, and ensuring their successful and timely completion now falls under Jaiswal's purview.

It's significant to mention that Nitin Nabin, who represents the Bakipur assembly constituency as an MLA, assumed his new role as the BJP's National Working President on Monday.

Adhering to the BJP's established "one person, one post" principle and considering his expanded national-level organizational responsibilities, Nabin submitted his resignation from the Bihar cabinet earlier today.
