Dashcam Captures Dangerous Road Rage in Gurugram: Wrong-Way Driver Threatens Motorist

A dashcam video capturing a road rage incident in Gurugram has gone viral, showing occupants of a flower-decorated Scorpio driving in the wrong direction threatening another car driver. The footage reveals two men exiting the Scorpio and aggressively confronting Gurugram resident Samarth Mathur.

The confrontation occurred near AIPL Joy Street on the Main Gujjar Road in Sector 66, according to details Mathur shared in his online post. The video clearly shows the Scorpio approaching from the opposite direction before blocking Mathur's vehicle.

In his social media post tagging the Gurugram police and traffic authorities, Mathur wrote: "@DC_Gurugram @gurgaonpolice @TrafficGGM @police_haryana Conveniently driving on the wrong side, halting the entire traffic. Approaching others ready to kill. How are common people supposed to protect themselves against this gundagardi?"

The dashcam footage shows two men getting out of the Scorpio and aggressively approaching Mathur while shouting, "Keh raha hu nikal ja (I've been telling you to pass by)."

When police responded to Mathur's post requesting his contact information, he declined, stating he was not comfortable providing those details. "I don't understand why the contact details are needed. Is there not enough proof in this video itself of the unsafe driving, intimidation, harassment, public nuisance?" he replied.

Gurugram Police has initiated an investigation into the incident.
