Former Telangana lawmaker K Kavitha has issued legal notices demanding apologies for allegations against her husband regarding land dealings. Kavitha denies all allegations and accuses both BRS and Congress leadership of corruption and political targeting.

"Will Be Chief Minister One Day": K Kavitha Slams Land Claims

Former Telangana legislator K Kavitha has dispatched a legal notice to T News channel, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao, and BJP leader Alleti Maheshwar Reddy, requesting an apology for what she described as false accusations against her husband concerning land transactions.

Following her expulsion from the BRS by her father and former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao for activities against party interests, Kavitha declared her ambition to become chief minister in the future and promised to "investigate all irregularities since 2014."

Insisting on an apology within seven days, Kavitha strongly rejected allegations of wrongdoing by her husband Devanapalli Anil Kumar. She emphasized that he has "never done business on government land, but only on private land."

Earlier this week, Rao had raised questions about Kavitha's purported involvement in an alleged Rs 1,000-crore scandal and inquired how her husband supposedly acquired 36 acres in survey numbers 21 and 22 of the Balanagar IDPL. Kavitha denied any association with this property.

Challenging her political rivals, Kavitha claimed that Rao's son is connected to the Praneeth Pranav Villas project, alleging encroachment upon a lake and obstruction of public access. "If HYDRAA has guts, they should create access to the lake and remove the encroachments," she stated.

Regarding the recent land transformation policy, Kavitha remarked, "The BRS opened windows for corruption by converting leased lands, while Congress has thrown the doors wide open through HILT."

The former MLC alleged that Harish Rao and the BRS were conducting a "targeted campaign" against her by purportedly using Maheshwar Reddy and Krishna Rao to disseminate misinformation. "Revanth Reddy is like a snake who just swallowed a frog. He has just come to power. So he does not want to take any action," she commented.

"Revanth Reddy is not interested in acting against the BRS. Congress leaders got some benefits from irregularities during BRS rule, so they are not taking action. If there is a probe, the truth will come out," she concluded.
