Corporate records reveal that the Luthra brothers serve as directors or partners across 42 different business entities.
New Delhi:
A thorough investigation of corporate documents has exposed a complex web of 42 companies connected to Delhi-based restaurateurs Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra. These brothers are currently the focal point of investigations into the devastating Goa nightclub fire that claimed 25 lives on December 6. This discovery has prompted serious inquiries regarding the extent and organization of the brothers' commercial operations, their financial methodologies, and the authenticity of their business representations, including unverified claims of international presence.
These findings emerge while criminal investigations continue into the tragic fire at Birch by Romeo Lane, the Luthras' Goa establishment, and the brothers' subsequent rapid departure to Thailand shortly after the incident.
A Network of 42 Companies
Corporate documentation confirms that the Luthra brothers hold positions as directors or partners across 42 distinct entities, comprising both private limited companies and limited liability partnerships (LLPs).
Investigators have highlighted an unusual pattern: the majority of these companies share a single registration address: 2590, Ground Floor, Hudson Line, North West Delhi.
This repetitive use of one address for numerous companies represents a recognized warning sign in financial investigations, commonly associated with shell corporations, anonymous financial transfers, and potential money laundering activities.
The Romeo Lane group has promoted itself through various marketing campaigns claiming to have an international footprint in Phuket, Thailand.
However, investigative efforts have failed to locate any operational establishments, customer feedback, or verifiable business locations.

Fleeing Hours After the Fire
The Luthra brothers became subjects of a criminal investigation following a catastrophic fire that engulfed Birch by Romeo Lane, their nightclub located in Arpora, North Goa.
Police reports indicate that around midnight, the fire intensified within the nightclub. At 1:17 am, the brothers secured tickets to Phuket through an online travel service. By early Sunday morning, they had boarded an IndiGo flight departing from India.
During this time, emergency responders were still combating the flames and attempting to rescue staff members trapped inside.
Goa Police subsequently contacted the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to request an Interpol Blue Corner Notice, which led to the brothers' detention in Thailand.
Detained in Phuket
On Thursday, Thai authorities apprehended Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra in Phuket, responding to India's request following the circulation of the Interpol notice.
Images released by local officials show the brothers standing alongside Thai officers, with their hands restrained, each holding their Indian passports.
The brothers are anticipated to be returned to India within 24 hours, pending final authorization from Thai authorities.
