Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended warm birthday wishes to Sonia Gandhi, the distinguished leader of the Congress Party in Parliament.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed his heartfelt birthday greetings to Sonia Gandhi, the prominent Congress Party leader in Parliament, expressing his wishes for her continued good health and longevity.

"Birthday greetings to Sonia Gandhi Ji. May she be blessed with a long life and good health," the Prime Minister shared in his message posted on the social media platform X.

Sonia Gandhi, born on December 9, 1946, holds the remarkable distinction of having served as the Congress party's president for nearly two decades, making her the longest-serving president of the organization. She eventually transferred the leadership of the 139-year-old political institution to her son, Rahul Gandhi, in 2017.
