Thar collides with car near Gurugram toll plaza
The banner displayed at the toll plaza stated "Wishing You A Pleasant And Safe Journey." However, just a short distance ahead, a black Thar violently crashed into a white hatchback, as captured in a disturbing video from Gurugram.
The accident occurred at Ghamroj toll plaza located on the outskirts of Gurugram.
The victim, a male driver, sustained severe injuries to his head and shoulder.
A formal complaint regarding the incident was subsequently filed at the Bhondsi police station.
Footage from the accident site revealed the Thar making a sharp swerve to the right before striking the car, causing it to flip over. The Thar then veered right, made a turn, and fled from the scene, as documented in the video.

Employees from the toll plaza and residents from nearby areas quickly gathered at the scene to extract the injured man from the overturned vehicle.
Police have apprehended the driver responsible, identified as Bharat, 39, who was arrested in Alipur, a village located in North Delhi.
Authorities have also seized the Thar vehicle involved in the incident.
In a related development last month, Haryana's top police official, OP Singh, gained attention when he remarked jokingly that "whoever has it (Thar), he must be crazy".
"If we compile a list of police officers, how many would own a Thar? And whoever possesses one must be crazy ('dimaag ghuma hua hoga uska')... It's a statement. The Thar isn't simply a car, it's a declaration that says 'this is how I am'. Well then, face the consequences. You can't have it both ways. You cannot engage in hooliganism and then expect to avoid apprehension," he had informed reporters.
Numerous incidents involving Thars being driven recklessly and causing fatal accidents have been reported recently.
The Haryana Director General of Police (DGP) explained that while they don't stop all vehicles for inspection, they could hardly let a Thar pass without checking.
He stated, "If it's a Thar, how can we possibly let it go? Or if it's a Bullet motorcycle... all troublemakers utilize these two vehicles. Your choice of vehicle reflects your mindset. People who drive Thars tend to perform dangerous stunts on public roads."
