The security effort is heavily reliant on cutting-edge technology.

Hyderabad:

A comprehensive security apparatus featuring over 4,500 personnel and state-of-the-art technology has been implemented to safeguard officials and international delegates attending the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025. The event will take place on December 8th and 9th at Meerpet, located on the outskirts of Hyderabad.

This two-day summit is expected to attract hundreds of delegates, including high-profile industrialists and dignitaries from both India and international locations. The gathering will facilitate high-level discussions, consultations, and the conclusion of numerous Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs).

The Rachakonda police commissionerate has developed an extensive security strategy divided into 18 operational sectors. This plan encompasses the venue itself, designated accommodation facilities, transportation routes, and surrounding areas.

Security has been organized into three distinct tiers. The Outer Ring will be managed by Law & Order and Traffic Police units focusing on crowd management and traffic regulation. Armed police forces will secure the Middle Ring to provide perimeter protection. The Special Branch, Intelligence units, and dedicated security teams will control the Inner Ring, ensuring proper VVIP access protocols.

All attending VVIPs, VIPs, and delegates will receive organized security escorts, Personal Security Officers (PSOs), and dedicated police liaison officers. DSP and Inspector-ranked officials have been specifically assigned to high-profile industrialists and senior government officials.

A heavily secured 25-kilometer approach to the venue features continuous police presence and six strategically positioned check posts, all under the supervision of a Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP). Seven additional checkpoints positioned on the southern and eastern perimeters will prevent unauthorized access on a 24/7 basis.

VVIPs arriving via helicopter will be received at a designated landing zone located 2.5 kilometers from the main venue. This helipad operates under constant armed guard surveillance and is overseen by a DCP-rank officer. The secured route from the helipad involves protection of 4 junctions, 25 adjacent lanes, and 4 vehicular turning points.

Cutting-edge technology forms a central component of the security infrastructure. A continuously operational Command Control Centre staffed by 3 Assistant Commissioners of Police and 50 officers has been established to monitor operations.

The security setup includes 115 night-vision and PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) cameras installed across transportation routes, parking facilities, and throughout the venue. All surveillance feeds connect directly to the main Control Centre.

Ten specialized drone teams operate across different sectors to monitor traffic conditions, security situations, and general surveillance, transmitting real-time information to the command center.

Advanced technological systems have been implemented to track delegate movements between their accommodations and the summit venue.

The main conference hall is configured to accommodate 2,000 delegates for presentations by the Honorable Chief Minister and other distinguished speakers. The summit agenda features multiple departmental discussions for finalizing agreements, formal dinners, cultural performances, and a specialized drone display.

Security for the main venue and internal areas, including exhibition spaces and meeting rooms, is overseen by a high-ranking team comprising 3 additional Director Generals, 5 Inspector Generals of Police, 10 IPS officers, and 170 supporting officers. Elite security forces have also been deployed, including three platoons of Octopus for emergency response and three platoons of Greyhounds for area security operations.

Authorities have designated Kandukur Police Station, located 5.6 kilometers from the venue, as the official safe house. Madhavan Ji Hospital, situated 16.5 kilometers away and equipped with 100 beds and 9 operating theaters, has been identified as the primary medical facility for any emergency response situations.

The Rachakonda Police Commissionerate has confirmed that all police divisions, intelligence units, and district administration teams are functioning in coordinated collaboration to ensure the successful and secure execution of this prestigious international event.
