Telangana's Ambitious Davos-Style Rising Global Summit 2025: Showcasing a $3 Trillion Economic Vision

Telangana is preparing to host a significant international event, the "Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025," scheduled for December 8 and 9 at Bharat Future City.

The two-day conference, organized by the Chief Minister's Office, is inspired by the prestigious World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos. Its primary purpose is to highlight the state's innovative vision and potential for substantial economic growth.

The gathering is anticipated to attract an impressive array of high-profile participants. Attendees will include global business leaders, prominent Indian industrialists, subject matter experts, and representatives from major international organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), World Bank, Asian Development Bank (ADB), and UNICEF.

Senior executives and institutional representatives from various companies—including BCG, Micron India, Hitachi Energy, Apollo Hospitals, Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, Swiggy, AWS, NASSCOM, DRDO, and Amul—are expected to participate in the discussions.

The summit will feature 27 specialized panel discussions focusing on sectors vital for future development:

Energy and Green Mobility

IT-Semiconductors

Health and Education

Tourism and Urban Infrastructure

Agriculture and Industries

Promotion of Women Entrepreneurs

Gig Economy and Social Welfare

Startups

Adding celebrity influence to the event, notable figures from sports and entertainment will lead dedicated sessions:

Olympic medalists and sports stars including PV Sindhu, Anil Kumble, Pullela Gopichand, Gagan Narang, and Jwala Gutta will participate in a special session titled "Olympic Gold Quest."

Distinguished filmmakers and actors, including SS Rajamouli, Ritesh Deshmukh, Sukumar, Guneet Monga, and Anupama Chopra, will lead the panel discussion on "Creative Century - Soft Power & Entertainment."

A key highlight will be the presentation of the 'Telangana Rising 2047 Vision Document' on the summit's second day, December 9.

This comprehensive document will outline a strategic roadmap designed to transform the state into a $3 trillion US dollar economy by 2047. It will detail plans for securing necessary investments, technology partnerships, and innovations across all sectors to achieve this ambitious goal.
