15 people were killed in the suicide bombing in Delhi on November 10.
The State Investigation Agency (SIA) in Jammu and Kashmir has initiated a new crackdown on the terror network responsible for the Delhi Blast, focusing on the weapons supply chain and investigating connections to suicide bomber Dr Umar Un Nabi.
Operations were conducted in central Kashmir's Ganderbal district and Srinagar's Batamaloo area, with the objective of dismantling the terror module's weapons distribution network.
SIA officials searched the home of Tufail Niyaz Bhat, an air-conditioning technician, located in Batamaloo's Diyarwani area, as well as another property in Ganderbal's Wakoora area, targeting the residence of Zameer Ahangar.
Tufail was previously detained for providing a rifle connected to Dr Adeel Ahmad Rather, a primary suspect in the case and a member of Jaish's white-collar module. The rifle was discovered in Rather's locker at the Government Medical College Hospital in Anantnag.
Adeel, Nabi, and his colleagues from Faridabad's Al Falah University, Dr Muzammil Shakeel and Dr Shaheen Saeed - all currently in National Investigation Agency (NIA) custody - are accused of planning and executing the Delhi blast alongside other accomplices.
Authorities had earlier recovered a pistol from Zameer Ahangar, which was provided to him by Maulvi Irfan Ahmad Wagey, who stands accused of radicalizing the group.
15 people lost their lives and more than two dozen others sustained injuries when a Hyundai i20 driven by Nabi exploded near the Red Fort and Chandni Chowk areas in New Delhi on November 10. Sources indicated that Umar conducted chemical experiments in his room on the Al Falah campus before developing the final Improvised Explosive Device (IED).
